The BeakTweaker is Black Raven’s seasonal IPA release. Built on a firm base of barley and rye malts, the BeakTweaker features bold citrus flavors and aromatics. A firm bitterness combines with citrus hop characteristics accented by the addition of black lemon, orange peel and lemon peel.

Our Tamerlane Brown Porter, with it's subtle nut and coffee tones takes a delicious turn when infused with freshly toasted coconuts.

Our Core of Four series celebrates and highlights the four core ingredients that make beer so great: malt, hops, yeast and water. Element 1: Malt. This amber lager was brewed in collaboration with our friends at Washington's own Skagit Valley Malting and built with 100% Washington grown malt varietals. Malt flavors take center stage, of course, but Barbe Rouge hops keep things grounded in perfect balance. A portion of all sales of Element No. 1 will be donated to Skagitonians to Preserve Farmland.

Here it is folks, our raspberry sour with all the soul we could squeeze into it. This pours bright and red with strong raspberry and mature soured notes on the nose. It drinks crisp and dry with a slight ‘raspberry hard candy’ note on the front. This soon gives way to a huge acid content which pushes the edge of comfort on the back of the palate. The finish is surprisingly clean and lingering. The base beer is soured using one of our two house sour strains, “Angelica”, which we grew up from wild bacteria and yeasts native to the Skagit valley. Copious amounts of local, seasonal and farm direct raspberries were harmed year after year in the making of this beer. CORBEAUX SERIES – RARE BIRD

Corvus Kriekus is an old world inspired sour ale brewed with "Van" and "Black Republican" cherries locally sourced in Wenatchee, WA. Corvus Kriekus is identifiable by its balance of sour and wild earthy notes underpinned by deep cherry flavor. Subtle undertones of chocolate, dried fruit, and hay are a result of not only the cherry varietals that were sourced, but the tiny microflora that inhabit the fruit, lending a specific terroir to this rare bird.

The Feather Weather is an American stout brewed with cocoa nibs and local cold pressed coffee. Dark chocolate and coffee flavors, perfectly balanced to combine the best of coffee and beer. Available January through February each year.

The Festivus is our annual holiday beer. Brewed in the holiday spirit with cranberries, various citrus peel fruit and a brewer's secret blend of spices. What better beer to enjoy while airing your grievances and performing your feats of strength? We know of none. Released annually in the Fall. Available also in 22oz bottles.

The Flocktoberfest is Black Raven’s fall seasonal lager. Brewed in the German Marzen style, this clean and balanced lager is the perfect summer into fall treat. This lager is crafted with traditional Czech grown and malted barley for an authentic European malt flavor with a light, toasty undertone. Domestic and European hops provide a balanced, light hop profile.

El Dorado, and Mosaic hops bring their bounty of tropical and candied stone fruit to the aroma. While Citra hops amble in with a waft of sweet citrus. This bright and golden colored ale is not what you might think. Light, crisp, and effervescent with low bitterness, light malt and biscuit notes might just leave you wanting another sip.

In the creator role, and in the Raven's role as the totem and ancestor, the Raven is often addressed as Grandfather Raven. With this stately sense of pomp and tradition we bring you our Imperial Stout. This robust black ale is full with rich dark caramel, unsweetened chocolate, and hints of coffee aromas and flavors. Stately indeed, but at 9.5% ABV, perhaps it is just a vain attempt to encourage the trickster spirit to act respectably. Released annually in the winter.

In the wise traditions of Raven as creator and ancestor, the Raven is often addressed as Grandfather Raven. It's with this stately sense of pomp and legend that we bring you our Grandfather Raven Imperial Stout. However, this is an older, grander bird. Having spent its time aging in Westland Whiskey single-malt barrels before blending in stainless steel, our Great Grandfather Raven is a rare find indeed. This robust black ale is full with notes of rich dark caramel, unsweetened chocolate, and hints of coffee all mellowed out with smooth oak and top-shelf whiskey. Stately, yes, but at 10.2% ABV - perhaps it's just a vain attempt to get this clever spirit to act respectably.

This annual release nitro porter celebrates the thwarting of an insidious plot attempted by Guy Fawkes & his band of anti-heroes on November 5th, 1605. Fawkes’ goal was to blow up the House of Lords with barrels of gunpowder. This year we plotted closely with Anchorhead Coffee Roasters, out of Duvall, to create a perfectly roasted coffee exclusively for this beer. We soaked a portion of those pristine beans in top shelf bourbon, and cellared the whole shebang on criminal amounts of cocoa nibs. In order to unify the flavors and give it that classic British feel we conditioned it on Nitrogen. This beer pairs well with Bangers, treacle toffee or burning your Guy Fawkes on a bon-fire. So quench the conspiracy, light your fires and remember the 5th of November.

The Hochzeit Pilsner is Black Raven’s summer seasonal lager. Brewed each year in limited quantity, this clean and crisp lager is the perfect summer treat. Brewed with traditional Czech grown and malted barley for an authentic European malt flavor. Domestic and European hops provide a balanced hop bitterness and flavor. Released annually in the summer months, taproom only.

This hazy style pale is brewed with pilsner malt, wheat, and oats. Hop varietals include Mandarina Bavaria and El Dorado. Counter rotates during the year with our Nothing but Hazy.

We took an unassuming pale ale and turned the screws a bit with additions of dried blueberries, vanilla beans and hibiscus. The result is an easy drinking pale ale that finishes like this morning's blueberry muffin, but still taste like beer.

La Mort Bourbon is our award winning strong Belgian brown that has been aged in bourbon barrels for 12 months. Annual release, time of year varies.

“La Petite Mort” means “a little death” in French. What’s a little death if it comes in this form? Well worth it we think. This Belgian inspired strong abbey style dark ale is brewed with a Belgian Ardennes yeast strain, and a generous three month cellar aging mellows and matures this fine ale. This additional time brings out flavors of dark fruit such as plums and raisins, deep caramel notes, and wonderful earthy tobacco tones.

The Morrighan was a Celtic goddess of war that would sometimes take the form of a raven in battle. This stout features flavors of deep caramel, chocolate and roasted coffee. Dispensed on nitro for a smooth & creamy pint. Available year-round.

This is one of our two rotating hazy style beers that we brew throughout the year. We started with some 2-row pale and pilsner malt and adding some wheat, lactose and oats to build a hazy base. Then we fermented this beer with Imperial Yeast lab's Juicy strain to enhance the hazy appearance and add some more fruity flavors to the hop profile. Meet Nothing but Hazy, a paradise of tropical and citrus aromas, balanced by light hop bitterness and a mid-dry finish.

This robust strong ale features pale malts and generous hop additions. After primary fermentation, several American rye whiskey barrels are filled and cellared to age. The remaining beer is then cellared in a stainless steel tank. After many months of aging, the barrels are then blended into the remaining batch aged in the stainless steel tank. Rare bird, released annually in winter and in limited quantity throughout the year.

Releasing in Spring of 2020, this is the first of many new lagers that will be brewed in our newest brewery in Woodinville. Crisp, clean and easy to enjoy.

Our Tamerlane Brown Porter that has been aged in bourbon barrels with the addition of freshly toasted Mississippi delta pecans. Usually released annually in winter, a true rare bird.

Pour Les Oiseaux is a blend of complex earthy, fruity and light tannic flavors with a crisp and refreshing finish. Brewed with barley, wheat, rye and oats for a golden color and lightly spiced malt flavor. Earthy hay and wild yeast aromas mingle with light notes of Washington wine grapes. Pour Les Oiseaux is aged in French oak white wine barrels with the addition of brettanomyces. Vintage dated, released annually.

This Northern France inspired strong pale hybrid has gone through a seven month secondary fermentation with the “wild” yeast strain brettanomyces lambicus, then dry hopped in order to meld bright fresh hop aroma and accent with aged wild yeast character. Pear and citrus hops play with tropical fruit, smooth earth, and light hay flavors from the wild yeast. Released annually in the Corbeaux Collection.

Brewed in our Redmond Innovation Brewery for the 2020 Hop Mob Roadshow, we created a beer supporting the mission of highlighting outstanding hop character. Two rounds of dry hopping on a 2.5lb-per-barrel hop bill of Strata, Barbe Rouge and El Dorado bring red berries and stone fruit into the spotlight. Malt plays a supporting role, adding body to balance the intense hop character with the rye malt harmonizing with the resinous hop notes.

Bright and copper in color, this new beer blends soft, spicy rye notes with the crisp shortbread characteristics of a lager. Flavors of toasted malt and vanilla are balanced by a dry mouthfeel and light floral aroma. With its full body and bright flavor, our Rye Lager perfectly bridges the coziness of winter and the promise of spring

Ravens in the Scottish Highlands were once thought to possess the gift of second sight, the ability to see future events before they occur. Second Sight is built around malted barley with hops playing a balancing role. This beer is ruby in color with large malt aromatics, delicious malt flavors and a full bodied finish. Available year-round.

Our Second Sight Strong Scotch Ale that has been aged in various whiskey or bourbon barrels. After many months of aging, the barrels are then blended together to form Splinters. This rare bird is released annually, in the middle of November. 2020 Splinters was aged in Westland Distillery (WA) whiskey barrels.

Our newest IPA creation, this taproom only release can be found pouring year round at the brewery. A limited number of kegs from each batch are shipped out to various retailers by request. This beer highlights some of the new "cool kid" hop varietals and challenges the brewers to pack in as much hop profile as possible while retaining that magical and somewhat legendary Black Raven balance.

This taproom exclusive beer is brewed in the style of an American Hefeweizen (unfiltered wheat ale). Wheat in the grist gives it bread like malt character and lighter hopping rates allow the malt and yeast flavors to shine.

Tavern Ale is inspired by the German Kölsch ale style. Imported pilsner malt provides the light color and malt flavor. Conservative hop additions in this ale provide a smooth and delicate hop profile. Tavern Ale is well-balanced, clean, crisp and prefect for almost any palate.

In mythology, the raven can play tricks or otherwise disobey normal rules, hence the name Trickster. This well-balanced IPA has a light fruit, citrus and piney hop aroma with a full hop flavor. With delicately balanced malt and hops and a 6.9% ABV, this beer has truly earned its name. Available year-round.

Tropical Squawker is the spring time variation of our popular Squawker IPA. This beer is brewed with slightly less bitterness than normal and infused with passion fruit, guava and kiwi juices. As Kraven T. Raven once said, “Let’s give them something to squawk about”.

Ravens have learned that flapping their wings all day is exhausting. Updrafts provide opportunities to relax, coast, travel great distances and see the world from new heights. This modern take on a classic style is built on a light pale malt profile. From there, we layer on some exciting, newer hop varietals. These hops contribute a range of flavors and aromatics from light citrus & melon to various tropical fruits.

Folklore and mythology present the raven as an omniscient creature with special powers and abilities. The Wisdom Seeker Double IPA gets its special powers from an enormous amount of hops and malted barley. Brewed in the West coast Double IPA style, this bold brew features massive citrus and herbal hop additions and a full hop aroma. Seek your wisdom cautiously; this hop feast packs a punch.
